스코틀랜드 대표적 백파이프와 드럼밴드의 연주를 묶은 앨범. <스코틀랜드 브레이브>를 포함한 대표적인 백파이프 연주곡이 총 망라되어 있다. 백파이프는 가죽공기 주머니를 이용해 취주관을 울려 소리를 내는데, '부르동'이라고 불리는 한개의 관은 연속적인 저음을 만들어내며 나머지 관이 멜로디를 연주한다. 이 부르동관이 만들어내는 저음에서 느껴지는 원시적인 평화로움과 멜로디를 연주하는 화음관의 강렬한 소리가 조화를 이루면서 매력적인 음악을 만들어 낸다.
